Coaching

Coaching is about moving forward from where you are, to where you want to be. A coach looks at your present and helps you create the future you desire. While coaching does not involve therapy, it can be therapeutic. A coach can use therapeutic techniques to help you resolve blocks and overcome obstacles.

Coaching is: Action oriented and your coach serves as the "architect" in your life .

Therapy

Therapists/Counselors work with you to heal deep emotional issues, usually arising from the past. Therapists also help clients who suffer from mental illness, depression, anxiety, and other disorders.

​

When people have trouble "functioning" in day to day life, or are stuck and not able to move forward, a coach will recommend therapy. Working with a therapist and a life coach can bring about amazing results when more than coaching is needed.

Therapy is: Insight oriented and your therapist serves as the "archaeologist" in your life .

Consulting

Consulting is about advising and giving information. Unlike coaches that guide you to find your answers, consultants can tell you what is best to do.

​

Consulting and coaching can be done together if the coach has expertise in a specific area and they are qualified to advise you.
